Interpreter candidates must be tested in both speaking and listening skills in English AND their non-English language(s). 

A few days after payment is received, you will get an email from ALTA Testing Services with instructions and information on how to complete the interview. No scheduling is necessary— the interview is pre-recorded, allowing you to take it at any time within one week of receiving ALTA’s invitation.

Once test scores are received by our office, candidates will be notified and provided with instructions for the next step in the certification process.

Minimum ALTA OPI score requirement: 9
